"Log On" to the Interweb

I keep hearing radio ads for websites that say "log on now". What is this, the 90s? I can't remember the last time I had to enter a username and password everytime I wanted to get online. The writers of these radio ads must still be using AOL or something. They should get with the times.

And thank God there are no AOL disks showing up in the mail anymore. Remember those days?

That also reminds me of when I had to use AOLpress (a.k.a. "Navipress") to publish web sites. Hey, they had the best tool at the time and it was free. :-)
