Synch or Sync?

I had to look this up since it was bugging me. Which is correct? "Synch" or "Sync"?

I always used "sync" but I see people using "synch" instead, which reads in my head as "cinch" and that’s not right (almost as bad as pronouncing "niche" as "neeeeeeeesh" but not quite).

I found this:

The Language Lover’s Blog (languagelover.blogspot.com)

They say that "synch" is more correct when it comes to language but "sync" does the job and is less confusing and looks better.

I say we use "sync" – so let’s all do that going forward, ok?
