We're getting quite a blanketing of snow. If it calms down a little, I might head up to Cascade. Karl said that we should start a football game in the yard outside and see if anyone else joins us.

Update: 12:28pm

Karl just made us tomato soup, grilled cheese (cut into two triangle pieces, of course) and a dill pickle - the perfect snow day lunch. This snow (and the lunch) reminds me of how winters in Wisconsin used to be when I was a kid. Here's an updated photo since the snow is drifting a lot now:

The snow's up even higher. I had a rough time even getting out to the mailbox to mail some letters. It looks like it might be letting up soon.
