My New Skiing Love - No Poles
Written by Tony

I have to say, the last few weekends, I've been doing runs without my poles and I just love it. We went last night and I had my poles here at home, getting ready for my trip (on purpose) so I was skiing without poles all last night. I felt so free. I really wanted to attack the runs.

At first, it wasn't easy carving. I didn't have the control I wanted. But I made adjustments like leaning forward more and that fixed it, I could carve again.

Getting around in the flats without poles isn't that difficult, either. I can skate well and move just fine.

So I'd suggest trying it and if you do, try it more than one time because the first time, you just may be figuring it out.

Ski ya!
