First Ski Hill in the Area Open

Well, it looks like Brule has been open a few days now. I don't think I'd go this early in the season. Too much carving and you're seeing grass pretty much.

I got my heated insoles installed in my boots tonight. That wasn't as hard as I thought and the Dalbello boot liners even had holes all ready for them, which is cool. Just gotta charge them up... and get some snow. Gotta wax the skis a little, too.

So it looks like it'll be good conditions here after Thanksgiving. So I'm sure I'll be up at Cascade skiing the first weekend in December. So it's coming soon. I don't think I'm in great shape for skiing yet, but I'll see what I can do and after the first 2 weekends, I'll be in shape for sure - it's quite a workout.

I can't wait!
