The roads weren't too bad getting up here - considering they just got dumped on with 26 inches of snow! YEEEEAH! Tomorrow should be lots of fun. Pictures to come!

Pictures from today are posted on the site now. What a great day of skiing! In the morning, it was sunny AND snowing - kinda crazy. What a nice, big hill. It really tired me out.
Tomorrow... snowboarding!

I went this morning to see Will at GRF Skis (good guy!) and he worked on my boots a little for me. He suggested, since they're still new boots, wearing them around the house a little at night because the liners will form to my feet inside, where it's warmer. So I'll buckle them for 10 minutes, unbuckle them for 5 for a few nights and see if that helps.
The left one is nice and snug though. Hopefully the right foot boot adjusts for me. That'll be nice. It's amazing that ski boots CAN actually be comfortable. Before you spend money on some awesome skis, get good boots and boot work done - fo sho!

Well, on Friday we got notice that we'd open up the next day so I got up there on Saturday morning and got to ski the 2 full runs that were open. I also got to give 2 lessons as well. The snow was ok, actually. Let's keep these temps going so we can make more snow. Yeah, my legs are sore. Wow. It's a good sore though. I'm getting into shape at least. I'm looking forward to the season and am getting ready for a trip I just booked to Salt Lake City in January. That'll be my first trip "Out West", so I'm looking forward to it. Well here are some pictures. Cascade had their annual Turkey Rail Jam, so the snowboarders we having fun there. I hope to do some riding this year, too. -T
