Obama is “Helpful” in Crisis

Obama said at least 5 times that this is the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression and we must act swiftly. Then he says if we need him, they can call him and he will be helpful.

What?

If this is SO serious, why is Obama taking it so lightly? Why doesn’t he run to Washington to defuse something he calls a crisis?

What happens if he becomes President and there’s a crisis? What is he going to do? This right now is a job interview for President – doesn’t he realize that? Someone should tell him that, I think.

You just can’t make this stuff up. It’s unbelievable.

The Democrats and media are saying McCain can’t manage more than one thing at a time. What? If something is serious, you drop what you’re doing and take care of it – instead of taking time to practice for your debate. Shouldn’t a President (or Senator for that matter) be like? Shouldn’t a President have a sense of urgency and take care of anything called a crisis?

I guess McCain didn’t need time to practice debating or something. McCain looks more like a leader and risk taker here instead of just a talker and typical politician.

The media is so stupid here. I hope nobody’s buying this crap.

I guess that’s the "change" Oblah-blah… oops, I mean "Obama", is talking about. :-)

Update:

Ok, so here’s a chance for Obama to walk into these bank bailout meetings, take charge, tell the Democratic majority Congress what to do and what is his reaction? (I saw this myself, live, on Fox News last night – Obama’s own words, live) He said that bringing Presidential politics into the delicate negotiations was not helpful. So he thinks he’s better not being involved… in a crisis. He doesn’t want to be there.

What?

You just blew the interview, buddy. Sorry. If you can’t become the lead person in this situation because you need to practice for your debate and don’t know what’s going on, then you cannot handle running this country. There are too many people’s lives at stake here. There is no on-the-job training with President. You just failed – with your own words even. No doubt.

Update:

And remember that Congress is controlled by Democrats. It’s THEIR plan. I don’t know why they’re making this depend on the Republicans since they can pass whatever they want basically. I guess they don’t feel they’re fit to do their job or something, I don’t know.

Update:

So now Obama and the Democratic majority congress could not get their bailout bill passed after they were so excited about it. The media seems to be blaming it on Bush and Republicans. Democrats can get it though – they have the majority… so they can’t even all agree amongst themselves. This is the worst Congress in history and Pelosi is the worst Speaker ever. They can’t get anything done. Crazy.

Oh wait – sorry… I’m wrong. I heard a $54,000,000.00 spending bill was passed to clean up the Great Lakes. Ok, so they did get something done. They were able to spend my money on environmental issues which probably involves a tie between some company that’s going to get a lot of contracts and someone in that committee… yeah, that’s how those things work, we all know. So thanks for that. Good job there.

Update:

Obama says this vote will take care of everything in the morning, the vote happens, then he changes his tune and says he didn’t have anything to do with it and it’s not his fault.

It’s true – it’s NOT Obama’s fault. He was just on the phone. Nancy Pelosi blew it. She’s in charge. She called for the vote before knowing if it would pass. Here Obama had a HUGE change to be Presidential and work on what he’s calling a "crisis" and he does nothing. So if you fail to act, then no it’s not your fault he’s saying. What?

At least McCain was there trying to provide some balance to the Democrats. He’s on the minority side of things. Obama is on the majority side of things and felt it was better to stay out of there. Obama is not fit to run this country. He’s proving it over and over again. It’s not even funny.

So $700 billion is a lot of money. That’s LESS than the cost of the War in Iraq ($648 billion so far). That’s over $21,000 per American homeowner with a mortgage. Wow, would THAT stimulate the economy… so why does Congress think they can come up with a way to spend that in less than a week? That’s dangerous. Get the Democrats out of there! They’re killing the country. And Bush isn’t helping too much, I don’t think.

Get rid of Fannie and Freddie. Close it down. Start over the right way. This scandal makes Enron and WorldCom look like crumbs on a table. Where are the investigations? Obama is involved with this, that’s probably why there are no investigations.

Hey, I had an ARM loan at the same time that these other people did. I just refinanced and paid my mortgage because I didn’t get into something I couldn’t pay for. I’m in a good situation now. It worked for me. I paid my mortgage on time and still do. Do it the right way, people! Now I have to pay for people who foolishly got in over their head. Not fair.
