No, Hilary... it's not because God and Jesus asks so much from us and that we need to answer the call. The answer is, we live in a fallen world. This isn't how God intended things to be. Sin entered in and messed things up. The way it's supposed to be is coming soon when this is over. If you want to get on that bus, accept that Jesus died for your sins and live for Him.
