Oops, I Was Wrong

I realize that I made a mistake and I want to mention it...

I thought that the news media was mainly interested in producing news stories that made them money. I thought they were a business that depended on advertising dollars / revenue and I mistakenly thought that was their goal. I had though the news media was somewhat biased, but now I know differently.

The news media is now very clear that they're above money. They're above being just a business pushing sensationalistic stories to keep us dependent on them. They are flat out pushing a liberal agenda. I'm sure there's money in that, too, but it's not about selling ads like I thought. I've written here before wondering why there was no scandal being investigated regarding the Fannie and Freddie bailout. And it's true that if there was a Republican to blame, that person or people would have been on the stand weeks ago. There is no such person. The media has looked and can't pin it on one. So instead of printing what they really found, they've chosen not to, covering up what really happened.

Here's a story that explains this really well. I didn't write it but happen to agree with it.

Would the Last Honest Reporter Please Turn On the Lights?
By Orson Scott Card

Editor's note: Orson Scott Card is a Democrat and a newspaper columnist, and in this opinion piece he takes on both while lamenting the current state of journalism.

And I'm happy to report when I'm wrong and make mistakes. I get this now.

Update: More evidence to support my theory. The CNN reporter misquotes NRO purposely saying that they said Sarah Palin was unqualified - when that's not what was said. NRO said that by watching the media, he can't tell if she's unqualified, etc. This is just the worst example of the big media not working that I've ever seen. You can't say this wasn't purposely taken out of context. The CNN reporter did it on purpose. I can see why Sarah Palin doesn't want to do interviews with anyone but Fox reporters. CNN just wanted her on so that they could get these short clips to use against her. It's cheating.

So not that it's absolutely clear that the big media isn't just for making profits, they're clearly for destroying conservative values, it's also clear that the Democrats need to cheat in the final hours of this election in order to win. Be it with the news media, Obama's campaign team illegally registering to vote in Ohio, ACORN, or whatever else they're doing that we don't know about yet, they're cheats and liars. Anyone voting for that kind of leadership, dare I say, might just fit in with the rest of them if that's what they support and if that's who they want leading this country and the world. As a matter of integrity, don't vote Democrat.

Update:

Now the big media themselves are saying that they are biased. Here's a story from ABC News:

Media's Presidential Bias and Decline

Update:

And if you cross Biden and ask him the wrong questions, you get banned. So they can dish it out but can't take it. Yeah, things are quite a bit biased and Democrats are babies. Us Republicans take this kind of criticism all the time. Yikes. Man up.
