I was already thinking this, but someone just called in on Rush Limbaugh and said the same thing... we don't like McCain (or Huckabee) and many people won't even vote for McCain. Of course Obama is bad news (no substance) and Hilary Clinton would be a nightmare, too.

So we need either a split in the Republican Party into something more conservative or we need an independent conservative candidate to arise. There's still plenty of time for this to happen and I would support it if it would happen and if the right person was in place... like Fred Thompson, for example. Come on, Fred!
