If we had started drilling when the Democratic Party President, Bill Clinton, vetoed the bill in 1994, we'd have 1 million more barrels of oil per day right now - when we need it. Democrats say that this would only bring down the cost a few cents but they're wrong. Doing this would have made us less independent on oil these last 10 or more years, which would have affected the market this whole time.
