Hillary

Ok, hearing about Hillary Clinton with all her emotional stuff reminds me of something. I have some relatives that worked very close with President Bill Clinton (let's just say their job was to always be with them and check out locations before Bill would arrive there). They said that Bill had the worst mouth they've ever heard and that Bill and Hillary constantly fought. They would only cut this out when they were in public.

Now, I've seen these kinds of families before (we all have) and I thank God that my family is the total opposite of the Clintons, but people in those kinds of families are much more stressed and are not all that happy (and I'm sorry if you who are reading this are in such a family). We all know the Clintons are like this, right? So I think things like a good marriage and family life are a must for someone that's, let's say... running the country. Hello?

I just don't get why she's even a contender. Too many people seem to get sucked into what the media puts out there, it seems. Just think about simple stuff like this when choosing a candidate. This person will be leading the country. The same country your kids are in and that you live in. I think there's a good reason why we haven't had another major terrorist attack. We can't put someone in the office that's not very, very stable and tough.

2008 Presidential Election Prediction
Written by Tony
Thursday, 18 October 2007

Well, we're almost a year away from Presidential elections and things have been in full swing for a while now. Personally, I think it's the Democrats trying to rally up their base however they can (because they're desperate, of course). So here are some thoughts on why I think Hillary Clinton will not be elected President (not in any specific order):

  1. I've heard people I know sat that they think she will win. Yeah, she's doing a full-on media blitz and the mainstream media are eating it up and selling it to the masses, but people.. we are 1 year away from elections now. If she has to do so much right now, then this is out of desperation. People will be so sick of Hillary a year from now. The media may still choose her as a winner on election night, but they will be surprised.
  2. Empty wagons make the most noise, right? I think the candidate that will win is somewhat silent now. The ones causing the most stir (cough... Hillary) will have nothing new to say in a year.
  3. Nothing against women, but she would be this country's first woman President. She's got a tough battle here. When people are at the voting booth and are thinking about the safety of their kids and family with everything going on in the world, will they really pick a woman?
  4. Have you heard her laugh? Please... I do not want even 4 years of that.
  5. She's coming from Congress. People in congress are micro-managers. Presidents cannot govern in that matter. Governors make good Presidents in my opinion. Presidents have a lot to do and those that know how to delegate get a LOT more done.
  6. She's coming from Congress. Oops, did I say that already? Yeah, what has this Democratic congress done for us lately? Not a thing. Their rating is lower than the President. They were all fired up a year ago saying that they'd bring the troops home - but yet they have NOT been able to do that after many, many attempts. So all that was a bunch of hot air apprently.
  7. The surge of troops in Iraq IS working. Notice how that topic has settled down? That's because it's working, people. She's so anti-war now that in a year, when things have changed, she will have to go back on everything she says. Democrats change their minds depending on how the wind is blowing. Conservatives have set values and are more solid... ok, so that means they're not "progressive", well that's good, not bad! Progressive means wishy-washy.
  8. Hillary is not grounded in reality. She denies the whole Monica Lewinsky thing. Huh? Come back to reality, please? This kind of thing WILL come back to bite her. Truth does eventually come out. Your lies DO find you out. And the cream does rise to the top. She's only kidding herself if she things she's above these kinds of natural laws.

So far my favorite is Thompson. I think he's being quiet now for a reason. He'll turn it on when he needs to, I'm sure. He's the tough kind of guy that we need running the show. He'll also have the support of the people because, like Reagan, he knows how to communicate. Bush is actually pretty smart, but just terrible at communicating, so he easily looks like a dope - I get that. But this will help Thompson look all that much better.

We're looking for a candidate that is strong, tough, doesn't care what people say about them and is above all, smart. I think America will someday fail since history tells us that all great nations do, but there's plenty of tread left on the tires. Let's not mess this up.

Glenn Beck Show

Wow, the show, "Exposed: the Extremist Agenda" was very enlightening. My favorite line was from Brigitte Gabriel who said, "Political Correctness is the disease that is killing the West... we have to throw it in the garbage where it belongs. People have to develop a backbone to stand up and identify the enemy."

Bottom line... we're too nice. The media is the biggest proponent of Political Correctness and we're swallowing it. We have no backbone. The leader out there that actually understands all of this is the one the liberals hate: President George Bush.

Political Correctness will bring this country down. Our enemies are counting on it.

The scary part, all of this stuff lines up with Scripture. I think this country will fall.

I have the show on my Tivo if anyone wants to see it.

My Opinion on the Election
Written by Tony

I'm pretty happy with the results.

A few things... first, as Rush said, the Republicans lost, not the conservatives. The Republicans needed this slap in the face to wake themselves us. They haven't been conservative enough. The funny part is that the Democrats ran their campaigns a bit conservative. What I think will happen is that for the next 2 years, people will see that the Democrats aren't doing any good since they'll either be too conservative, which isn't what people want or else they'll be their liberal selves, which as we all know doesn't work, so in 2 years, the Republican Presidential candidate will win the election - provided we get a good one to vote for.

It's a wake up call. It was needed.

The Democrats that got in were a bit conservative, so it'll be a good mix. I'm not worried at all. I just wish they'd just shut up about it now. They're gloating a lot like they won some big prize, but open it up and you'll see it's not that great, so I guess enjoy the excitement while it lasts.

Let's see if they do what they say. It sounds like they want to cut taxes - wow, Democrats cut taxes? That'll be the day.

Oh, and we're going to now lose the war in Iraq. That's how it'll go if they bring home the troops. If we don't finish the job, it'll probably be like we were never there. The terrorists know this. They're happy. They won the election, too. America voted with the terrorists. Bush wanted to finish the job. When things go to crap and the rest of the world looks at us as quitters who invited the terrorists back into their land, please remember this time - right now - when everyone was happy with hopes of us pulling out and losing this war. Please remember this time - when we had the chance to continue with our mission and finish the job,

Let's see if people with those bumper stickers that say "no war" are happy when the war turns to terrorism in our land... when the war comes here. Will their bumper stickers say "oops!" ?

Ok, so that's a little extreme. It's my blog though.
