Ok, so I guess it doesn't really "convert" so it's not a convertible but there is no top, so it counts in my book!

I got this the other day - no, not to save millions of dollars in gas, but because we have a colleague coming in to Madison for a while and he can use this to get around town. And because my first car was a scooter and I thought I'd be fun to own one again. Plus, it's fun to drive around in the summer... the whole convertible feel. Ok, you pick the real reason of those three. :-)

It's fun. I took it all the way to Westgate on Saturday. I went all around the construction on campus and even down Mineral Point Rd, downtown. It's a 50cc and gets up near 50 downhill with the throttle maxed out - of course. Any engine over 50cc and you need the class M license / motorcycle license... which I'd like to get one day but not for this. Yeah... show up to a motorcycle class in a 80cc scooter? You'd get run over!

So if you see me tooling around town in this thing, don't run me over, ok?
