I tried ordering a simple part from them, weather stripping and boy, what a mess. First of all their website is super slow at times and seems to not work well.
They shipped me the wrong part. I got weather stripping but the wrong time. After almost 2 weeks of communicating with them over email (at first, their support on their website did not work at all - I could not contact them), I finally get a call where they left a voicemail saying that I did sign for a part... no, that's not the issue. I got the wrong part. I could not use the wrong type of weather stripping.
They did leave their number, so I called them back and I talked with someone. She said that they didn't have the right part but they would credit me for the part, not the shipping and I could keep the part since it's under $20.
Whatever. I'd rather take the loss than deal with imbeciles any more. Yikes.
It seems like CarParts.com is related to JC Whitney. They seem to be located right next to each other when I searched for them on Google Maps. I did not find a customer service phone number for them anywhere but I now have it if anyone needs it. Good luck:

Update:
They did end up crediting me for the full amount of the order - so that's good. I did get to keep the weather stripping and adhesive cement that they sent me. I think they did the right thing there. It took a while and communication wasn't great but I do have to say I'm happy except that I cannot get the part that I want.
