Well, it's about time. My PC took a crap today and right now I'm doing the Mac "switch". It's a 14" iBook G4.
Ok, so some things are moved around and you have to eject a lot of
stuff (which is better than dragging it to the trash, like how it used
to be), but it's cool. I'm quickly getting the hang of it. And it's got
a Unix-like shell underneath it, which is pretty cool.
All the extra
programs you had to buy with a PC already are here in this Mac.
Wireless and bluetooth are even built-in, so that's less junk to carry
around - although what's the deal with carrying a cord around to plug
in a monitor?
I do like how the mouse plugs into to keyboard - that just makes sense.
Someone please explain to me how to get the "end" key on the keyboard
to work.
More later... gotta make email work. Wish me luck!
