If you're not in one, I suggest going over to one and starting a savings account or something.
My credit union is great. They know me by name and I stop in every month to make my car payment, so they see mee. When it comes time to do another loan or something, it's easy because they've been seeing me. And they seem to be so much more flexible than a bank. All I've heard about credit unions are good things!
