"The Customer is Always Right" Can be Wrong

I like the article I found today: Top 5 reasons why “The customer is Always Right” is wrong. It's good. Here are a few key points:

  • It's ok to fire customers that are rude to your employees.
  • Put customers 2nd and employees will treat customers as #1, which gets you better customer service.
  •  Some customers are wrong and are just plain jerks.
It's better to side with your employees in a lot of cases. They're the ones that are with you longer (hopefully). :-)
