I was browsing through Best Buy, killing some time and saw that they had Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock for like $40 and it included one wireless guitar controller for my PS3. You can't not pass a deal like that up, so I picked it up.

I'm just starting, so I'm only getting like 80 to 90% on the easy level but it's fun. My problem is that I want to try to play every note I hear, so I might actually do better on a higher level, we'll see.

The graphics are pretty good on HD. It's weird that when you're done playing a song, your eyes sort of freak out and it looks like things are moving up and away when they're really not. It only lasts like 30 seconds, but it's weird. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong part of the screen when I play. Does this happen to anyone else out there?

The guitar controller for the newer version of Guitar Hero seems to have more buttons, so that's maybe why this was so cheap. I got it to see if I'd like it. I think it would be fun to have a Guitar Hero party sometime.

if you ever want to upgrade your axe, they have great deals on guitars for the game on Woot.com every once in a while...but I'm just saying.
