Yeah, that's the default signature that Apple puts into the iPhone - either you love it or hate it, I guess. I think it's a good idea to have a signature like this so that people can excuse your spelling and typing mistakes. I'm even thinking of putting this signature in my email program so that people will either be impressed with my one handed typing ability or else forgive any mistakes there, too.
To change "Sent from my iPhone" to something else, you simply go to:
Settings > Mail > Signature
Change it and then go back to "Mail" with the left arrow at the top. There's no "Save" button there. You don't need to.
But what should you change it to? What are some good "Sent from my iPhone" alternatives out there? Well, I found a few and put them here with some of my own. If you have some good ideas, put them in the comments:

When should you write an email and when should you make a phone call?
When You Do Both Wrong:
Today, and from time to time, I get someone who emails me and asks me to call them. What? I'm sitting here, next to the phone. It's not ringing / not busy. There is no voice mail from you where you tried to call me and you're emailing me to tell me to call you by phone? Why don't you just call me? Are you assuming I'm busy? Why take a minute to write an email when you could have just picked up the phone? That seems like it would have been faster... for both of us.
Are you not available right now? If I call you, as you're requesting, will you be there to pick up? I have to assume you won't be there - otherwise you would have picked up your phone and called me instead. So when should I call when you will be around?
I just don't get it!
It seems to me like the way you contact someone is the same way you want to be contacted back.
Pretty simple, right? Why mix the two up and make it confusing?
I've decided to start a photo blog. I was going to start it at the beginning of 2012 but found some time to do the research on how to set up a photo blog. I wanted a photo blog set up so that I could just simply take the picture from my iPhone and email it to my website / blog. I did some work and get it set up running pretty smoothly, so I figured why not start it now instead?
It's using WordPress and a few, good plugins along with a photo blogging theme. I have a special, private email account programmed into my iphone and all I do is take a picture and send it as an email to my website and then it appears on the website. If I was going to do it, I wanted it to be set up as conveniently as possible. I didn't want it to be a hassle or where I would forget to do a sync or something. I simply wanted to take the picture, send it and be done. So that's what I did.
How to Set Up a Photo Blog
Later, I'll come up with a small eBook and some instructions so that if someone else wanted to set one up, they could. Or maybe people would want me to set one up for them so it would be easy for them.
Why a Photo Blog?
I think a photo blog is a great idea because you get to look back and see where you were each day. Maybe some days, it'll just be a picture of the pen on my desk or other days, I could be traveling and send in something more exciting. Your friends and family get to peek in on your life and see what's going on as well. The great thing is that the picture can say a lot.
The cool thing about a photo a day is that you sort of have to decide what will be your photo. You only get one a day, so make it count. I'll be looking for the opportunity to take a good picture wherever I go. I'll have to set some kind of reminder at night to remind me to take one in case the day gets busy and I forget.
Why With an iPhone?
I'm getting more and more into photography and have had some really nice photos - especially around Madison. I just got the iPhone 4S and the camera on it is actually really good. It's just 8 mega pixels, but that's enough but the optics of the camera have really improved - noticeably improved if you ask me. You can take some really great photos with an iPhone. You just have to recognize the moment. Since it's on the phone, I'll pretty much always have it with me, too.
What Else Can Be Done?
I might also hook it into Facebook and Twitter so that my picture also automatically gets sent there as well.
I was having a problem with my Samsung TV. It was working fine, then it started acting weird. I'd start it up and there would be a blank screen. Then it would keep restarting and take a long time to really start up. I found that if I unplugged things, that helped. Finally, it would hardly start up at all. The remote stopped working, too, once it would get started.
After some research online and asking around, I found out that this is a common problem with Samsung and LG LCD HDTVs. They used some cheap capacitors on the circuit board, they would pop after a few years and cause this problem. They need to be replaced.
I saw a video online about a guy doing it himself and it looked pretty easy so I decided to take it on with the help of my friend, Al.
First, I unplugged it and got it onto a table with a blanket on it so as to not damage the screen. I removed about 10 screws from the back. Don't forget the ones by the plugs.
Next, I saw the broken capacitors. There are four of them about the same size in a row. The tops were sort of busted. I've seen some pictures where they leak a little.
I unscrewed that board and removed the plugs going into it. We think this is a power transformer type of circuit board converting AC to DC or something like that.
We got the board out and Al did some soldering work. He straightened out the pins using the soldering iron and a soldering sucker thing to pick up any excess. He then touched the iron to the soldering points and removed a capacitor while I held the board. Having two people working on this is probably ideal.
Once it was out, we put the new one in. You have to make sure it's oriented the right way for polarity. It doesn't go in either way. Make sure it's right. Check the ones that are in there.
We got the new ones at Radio Shack. I didn't think they carried that type of thing anymore but they did. The guy at the store, when I called, knew exactly why I needed them - so like I said, I've been finding that this is a common problem with Samsung and LG TVs.
We ended up just replacing 3 of the 4. The other one looked Ok. These were bigger than the ones we took out and we think that will help them last longer this time.
We put the board back in and hooked up the plugs again. I got the TV back to the entertainment center, plugged it in and it worked. I then took it back and put the back cover back on.
All in all, it was a $5.10 fix in parts. I then bought Al some dinner, so it did cost me a little more for the paid labor but it was worth it.

It seems that there's a level (14-5) where there's a tribute to Back to the Future 3 where there's the DeLorean and the clock tower being constructed maybe. Kind of cool, like an Easter Egg sort of (well, not really).
