Well, it took a solid week to do plus a little cleanup, but I think it looks really nice now. It was all white - the same color as the ceiling because this was new construction. I've been year almost a year and a half, so it's definitely time to do it. Check out the photoset on Flickr (or the slideshow ). -T |

It seems all toys from China contain lead in the paint. Yikes. Well, I found an interesting article online called "500+ Toys Not Made in China ". It's too bad for companies here that were outsourcing or owned factories in China to help stay competitive in the world economy that we're in. But if you do that and don't monitor every aspect of what's going on, you pay for it. You can't take short cuts. I know a little about that. -T |

I'm no economics major or anything, but the Fed just cut the interest rate to stimulate the housing market and now the dollar is about worthless - well, it's worth as much as a Canadian dollar now (frist time since 1976). Yeah, that sucks. So if everyone goes and buys a house of something, we can raise interest rates again and show them Canadians who is boss! :-) This also sucks if you own a foreign company - let's say like over in India. Time to raise rates!
