I had fun at Casey and Amyee's Halloween party out in Evansville. There were probably about 20 people there showing off their superheroes themed Halloween costumes. I went as Fat Batman (or "Fat Bat"), which was a hit (and hot indoors).
We played some games - inside and out. The weather was good. We had a fire going in the fire pit (which Casey nearly destroyed by using the leaf blower to help get it going). We played "7 Steps" outside, which was kind of like "red light, green light." Click into the story to see more costumes. I have a few here that Amyee took, so thanks Amyee! -Tony

Here's a good article I found today:
Dump Your Credit Card Debt, But Keep Your House
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by debt -- credit cards, medical bills, mortgage payments, etc.-- and especially if you’re being hounded by collection companies, your best option is to make an appointment with a nonprofit credit counseling service. In exchange for agreeing to a budget plan, they’ll contact creditors for you and hopefully buy you more time to pay your bills.
That's sound advice. I was able to use a credit counseling service after college to get rid of the debt I had. They brought my interest rates down to 0% in some cases and gave me 1 monthly payment that I could pay. It worked really well. I felt good about paying what I promised to pay and I got rid of that debt. I highly suggest using a debt counseling service like the one I used: CareOne.

This Saturday I'm going to a Halloween party at a friend's house. It should be fun. I'll take pictures and post them here. I bought my Halloween costume online and it showed up in just a few days. It's a great costume. I'm not saying what it is... you'll have to check back here later! -T

I got a call on Sunday about 9:30am from Al saying that he had 2 tickets to the Packer game. I said I'd go and we headed up to Lambeau for the 3:15 game. It was my first time going to Lambeau. I had seen the Packers play the Saints in Madison at Camp Randall once for a preseason game, but that was all the pro football I had seen live until yesterday.
The game was great: good weather (64 at game time but with 20-30 MPH winds), the UW Band was there, nice seats (16 rows up in the corner of the north end zone) and the crowd was a bit rowdy. The lady behind us didn't know how to keep some of her inner dialog inside and keep shouting "get 'em!" right into our ears, but that's all part of the game experience. I was yelling, too, on 3rd downs and whenever else the Packers needed my help. And, of course, they won! They were the underdogs and Indianapolis was supposed to stomp on them but no way. The Packers' defense stood strong.
It was really cool and so glad I got to go to this game. Thanks, Al!

Someone that has my email address just let Microsoft Outlook send out tons of emails as if they came from me. I got home from the game just now and had over 2800 emails in my inbox. Thanks for clicking on that attachment, whomever. You probably don't even know you're infected either. And it was about 6:30pm tonight (CDT) that you clicked on it. I can easily tell. :-(
Be careful what you click on - especially if you use Outlook... oh, I mean "my Outlook" as people who don't know much about computer seem to call it for some strange reason ("I can't get to my Outlook"). Maybe there should be some sort of test out there to make sure people can handle having an email account and computer before they get one. Sorry, I'm just upset because someone was careless. -T
