It seems to me like General Motor's employee discount promotion worked
pretty well. IN the last few weeks, I've been seeing a lot of Chevy
Malibus out there. I notice them because I think they're pretty ugly
(not as ugly as that Aztec/Rondezvous thing). So good job, GM. And it
seems everyone else has copied that employee discount thing, so they
have some marketing geniouses over GM - even though their designers are
lacking. :-) |

On Friday, I went up to the Dells and picked up my Jet Ski
(Tigershark). Needless to say, I'm sore. My quads are aching. Pretty
sad, huh? You do use different muscles trying to hold on to that thing
- that's for sure. She's running pretty good. More powerful for sure. I
took my buddy Andy out on it yesterday. He only weighs maybe a buck
twenty five, but it was able to move with both of us. So that's good.
Now, we just need this heat wave to continue. It's Wisconsin, so it could start snowing next week - ya never know. :-)
Peace,

I had a nice trip over to Michigan to see Jason and Jen. Trudi came
with and we had a good time. The beach was nice although it's been
sunny for like 6 weeks and it decides to be cloudy and then rain just
at that point. It also ruined our drive-in movie plans but oh well.
The weirdest thing... as we were driving around town, we noticed they
don't let you make left turns there on highways. Actually, they're very
few and far between. Kind of strange. It sounds like the people there
don't really like that system at all.
The trip was like 5+ hours there and of course 5+ hours back (duh,
Tony). We read a temp of 105 degrees on the way back on a bank sign in
Chicago. Wow, it was hot - nice!
I can't wait to get back there. It's a pretty nice state and a little
different than Wisconsin. It's MUCH more different than Madison. Wow,
Madison IS very liberal. Ya get blinded to it after living here so
long. It's nice to know that things aren't so strange in other parts of
the country. :-)
Peace,

Well, I had to do it. I went up to the Dells and rented a Wave Runner
for an hour and went out on Lake Delton. It was a little expensive, but
it had to be done. I was hoping that after iding a newer, 4-stroke PWC
that I would think mine in junk, but that's not the case. This newer
one was nice, much quieter (all 4-strokes are), but I think I like mine
more. It's hard to explain. I think mine is balanced better and I can
do more on it.
I don't have any idea when I'll get mine back. This place that thought
they had one says they might have a lead on another one, but I'm not
getting my hopes up.
At least I got my PWC (Personal Watercraft) fix. I should be good for a few days. :-)
Peace,

That place turned out to not have the part I needed even after I tried to confirm with them that they had it. Doh! |
